 io:\nJohn Pritchett retired in 2022 after a forty-year career in public se
 rvice\, including two decades in the U.S. Navy followed by twenty years in
  the intelligence community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics f
 rom the University of   Mississippi and a master’s degree in military a
 rt and science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.\nSinc
 e retirement\, he has authored over three dozen books spanning science fic
 tion\, children’s literature\, and nonfiction. His title\, Anti-Scam: Th
 e Survival Guide to Outsmarting Fraud\, Identity Theft\, and Deception\, r
 eflects his enduring commitment to public education and consumer protectio
 n.\nActive beyond the page\, John serves as a master financial educator fo
 r Prince William County and works with AARP on advocacy and outreach initi
 atives. He lives in Lake Ridge\, Virginia\, with his wife\, Dawn.
